GUILTY

GUILTY unfolds through a body confronted with its own ground. Across a mound of soil, the work reveals a tactile trace of rupture, a memory embedded in matter. It follows an archaeology of guilt, intimate and collective, through Medea’s mythic divide between the maternal as vessel of memory and what falls away from its origin. Guilt becomes more than a moral residue, emerging as a tension between ego and superego, the individual and the cosmic. Perception takes shape through self-betrayal, through the responsibility of our choices, the silent violences we inflict, the truths we refuse.
